Teaching has always been my life whether in public education or the private sector. I started out as an English teacher, school administrator, and teacher trainer specializing in individualized instruction and curriculum development. My doctorate is in education from Syracuse University in New York. After leaving public education, I began my career in software development designing software that is self-instructional and easy for non-technical people to use. I also teach programming classes. My clients have included The Federal National Mortgage Association, the U.S. Treasury Department, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Price Waterhouse, Principal Financial Group, Pepsi Cola, and The National Geographic.

I've always been interested in reducing information to clear written instructions that can be followed independently, regardless of the subject.
